We had the Plague of Locusts this summer-- seriously. But it's Irene we're waiting for now. I'll be switching over the the What's It Doing Outside thread soon, I guess. Ugh.
You think you have one set of problems and then, damn, an earthquake comes along. I hate when that happens.
Earthquake in the US...sounds strange, uh? Well, I'm glad no-one got hurt; I have experienced a few earthquakes and I know it IS scary, as you can't do anything about and that weird sound around you seems to never stop...a few seconds seem longer than usual. Never experienced a strong earthquake anyway.
