SC - Letterman Show

I'm gonna have to record this I guess... this marks the second event I can't attend, though actually the last one was closer than this one, and something I probably could have attended. (Dallas)

(Thanks for the welcomes, once again! For the record I actually didn't post until now because I just recently had my account approved. Mostly because I missed the part about contacting the forum admin for activation. *facepalm*)
I wonder what song he will play? Jeff says he will be playing with Paul and the band, so it seems unlikely that it will be something like Gene Pool. So will it be a Police song? If so, Jeff also says it will be one of STEWART's compositions. Hmm. No Time This Time would be the best Police song to fit the theme of Drum Solo Week (or at least better than the rest) but I don't think that would be considered a STEWART composition. Can't imagine it being Miss Gradenko, Does Everyone Stare, Any Other Day, or even Don't Box Me In. Man, its gotta be a non-Police song, but what song can he play that Paul and Band could play as well?

Any guesses?
A special arrangement of "Birds" from Orchestrali, OKC Ballet, etc.

Oh dear lord. I am so happy that STEWART is choosing to play a track like this rather than play a Police standard. Hear that Sting? Play something fresh that the public has not heard a bazilllion times.

I. CAN'T. FUCKING. WAIT.

Well I happen to like music composition and dragons, so Soundragon is what I came up with. But as a matter of fact I do happen to like Spyro the Dragon.

@jeff: Now I definitely can't wait to hear it. I like Orchestralli quite a bit!

Wooooooooooo!!!!!! Can't wait (already got the call and answered the trivia question for tickets). I was going to guess it was going to be a Gizmo piece since Paul plays piano and would play Vittorio Cosma's parts but I love that it is going to be a "Prey"!!!! I'd also recommend bringing something warm to wear because they keep it notoriously cold in the studio for Dave.

Glad you got in Con! I think my only chance is going to be to get on the stand-by list.
I buggered up my online entry. I was typing so fast and miscalculated the date. :-(
I selected 8/31. I re-entered for 8/24 but I haven't gotten any calls on either ph # I left.

We'll see.

Awesome selection STEWART! I'm sure the audience will be blown away per usual 8)

BTW, Wil Lee is a freakin' awesome bassist. Too bad he's already got a side gig
I'd love to hear SC and Andy jammin' with a bass player. Not necessarily PoPo stuff just jammin'.
It was great to hear the surprise extras at MSG. But, I digress...

EL, did you get an enhanced DL before you left BC? Or does Quebec have them? Pretty sure you can cross the line on the ground with just the enhanced DL and no passport.

Can't wait to see this event! Albeit in 1080p.

Thanks again for the heads up, Jeff.

However, if a bunch of nutters are there, the studio will need to get the "stop applause" prompt ready to try and quell all the wooooos and squeeeees!

Would love to see this but knowing my luck I'd probably have a wardrobe malfunction and be asked to leave.

Any nutters lucky enough to attend...have a blast!!!

That sounds exciting. I really liked the version in Savannah, but will curious to hear how it sounds with a non-orchestra group.

I can't make it up myself but hope Conroy enjoys it and is joined by other Nutters.
