OT: HOOVERPHONIC...I'll be their drummer on tv

ehehe, as many of you know I'm mainly a bassist player and a guitar player, but my first instrument was my drumset at the age of 5; later on I moved on to a professional drum set, but fate wanted me to move to guitar and bass.
Most of you may have seen me playing on tv with some international acts, such as Joe Cocker, Geri Halliwell (on piano), Alex LLoyd, Jahmelia....but THIS TIME I WILL BE ON TV AS A DRUMMER....
You don't know what that means to me...seeing myself on drums in front of a big crowd, precisely at the Arena in Verona (and what a place!!!)...I love playing drums, my friends hate me when I play it as i'm definitely too loud, but trust me, it comes from the heart; I've been playing drums for years and years, even if at the end I worked mainly as bassist, or producer.
Now, on Saturday 28th of May I will be on stage with HOOVERPHONIC (they have a great single out now) at the Arena in Verona for a main festival that will be broadcated on tv later on, and I was asked to be on stage with them to play drums. It's a lyp synch I guess, or maybe half-playback, we'll just play one song...but trust me, even if I was on tv shows like these many times, with tons of people, cameras, etc...etc...being on tv playing drums for me is like heaven!!!
I would only say that to that 5 year old little kid playing on the arms of the couch of my room....but I can tell you he did everything to make it happen.

Hey, I'm here in Verona at the Arena (you can check a pic I just took on stage on my facebook account), BUT I won't play as drummer due to some problems with the guitar player...I'll take his place and he'll be the drummer....
... it's a great place anyway even if I'm not on drums...being on stage at the Arena is amazing! We just did the soundcheck and we'll be back on stage at 11pm tonight more or less...
I missed Beady Eye for a while at our hotel !!!

That was amazing my friends; really a great place to be on stage, fantastic; I put some pics on my facebook account if you want to check....I was on acoustic guitar, but that's fine anyway, I loved it!
And it's always cool to be in a van that everyone is waiting for, cool to listen to people tapping at the windows...even if I am not the star, but they get you as well anyway.
