Do Tell About the Tell Tale Heart

More interview bits:

This is from last week, and I think the Sarah Palin part has already been mentioned here, but I thought it was noteworthy for referring to Stewart as “the engagingly Tiggerish Copeland” (quite possibly the best description of him I’ve ever seen).
Anyone want to attempt a transcript of the radio show for us non-UK folks?
If know one else beats me to it I'll have a pop at it when I get home from work tonight.

My favorite quote from the interview is the last sentence of this paragraph:
For a composer, opera is the ultimate. Writing pop songs is fun. You can stretch them into a concept album, but you’re still basically limited to guitar, bass and drums. I’ve done a lot of film music, which lets you play with the orchestra, but finally the director is in the driving seat. But, in opera, the composer is God. And I like playing God.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music

It's a work in progress.

Stewart being interviwed for 17 mins, I'm typing as fast as I can but give me a couple of days to catch up with him.

By the way, anyone who has heard the interview, how do you spell Stewarts impression of Andys opening bars of Message in a Bottle? And next question. How many points would Stewart score on a scrabble board for his impression of Andys opening bars of Message in a bottle?

I should probably start a new thread for this, but that quote made me go looking for video proof.

Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJFyz73MRcg

And then watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIM-6MS9a0g

The resemblance is uncanny.

I'm fine, just happy at being back, when everyone was having the "forum login issues" I just couldn't get on here at all - and although I was reading - was unable to post.

I stopped trying to log in as it just (eventually) drove me nuts, but today I had a "what the hell" moment and gave it a go - and bingo! here I am 8)

had huge plans to go and see Tell Tale Heart, but was unable to go due to my gran being very very poorly. Thankfully she has rallied again and doing ok for now - we are hoping she will be able to celebrate her 93rd birthday with us in July.

I'm just very grateful to all you nutters for sharing your stories on here so I can live out the adventures through you guys - thank you x
