I just about had a flail-storm of epic proportions this morning to learn that The Musical Box are re-staging their incredible production of "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" in 2011/2012. So far the dates announced are all in Europe except for - guess where? - PHILADELPHIA!!!!
They're playing the Keswick Nov 18 & 19 and I just snagged tickets for both nights (not many are left by this point already). Don't know where else they'll be hitting in the states yet but OMG, if you enjoy Peter Gabriel-era Genesis you HAVE to see this show. I've seen TMB a bunch of times before but always regretted I only saw their version of Lamb once, it was truly the best. They have all of the original production slides and had a lot of help from Genesis in staging it.
Here's the news:

And here are some awesome videos to see how they do it. They're all amazing but the way Denis can channel Peter Gabriel of that era is just uncanny and positively eerie.

(Their Trick of the Tail show was awesome as well...I couldn't believe Denis could also do Phil Collins and Phil Collins-doing-Peter Gabriel, as opposed to his regular PG singing and staging. The guy is a freak. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Is1oTQj5gRk)
