Seeing the video I feel a very actual cool sensation ,Howstupidmrbates.
Nice to see another Police member working in music.
And also nice to see myself interested yet in these men who share part of my life with their rythms.

Both gentlemen were funny and charming between songs. Before the final song Andy seemed to be reprising the little "bit" he did on The Police tour before Next To You - out on stage, waiting for his bandmate(s), striking the guitar strings to "signal" those backstage. Then giving up, just launching into the tune. In this case, Ben came from the very back of the venue playing a harp. The Q&A was nothing earth shattering. They talked about music, the two shows they had performed in the past, their collaborations.

Sorry guys, it's been a busy week!

Howstupidmrbates gave the most accurate description. In addition to Kenny G, there were many of LA's great well and not so well known guitar geeks there (some fairly incognito). That was kind of fun.

We snuck in just after soundcheck, thanks to Heather and Coby who snuck into soundcheck. We got there earlier, but My little one(Holy crap she is 7 this week!) was hungry. So, we got some campus food. Dennis was working away, but managed to say hello, and there was lots of catching up from the Vancouver and Midwestern contingents and Saffron hammed it up and hung out on the corner of the stage. Lights went down, and the magic happened.

Musically, it was great. Magical even. Soothed Saffron right to sleep. But the kid can sleep through Police, Foos and Green Day shows. But she didn't even make it to song 2 with this soothing guitar sounds.

The show was great. Andy got a little testy during the Q&A. Lots of the questions were about gear and technique. And Fripp. I mean, come on, it was sponsored by the Pop and Classical guitar school at USC, known as one of the best in the country. Of course there were going to be geekster questions.

I took two sleepy girls home, and apparently Andy got snobby about signing things and saying hi to the people who came a long way. Not too surprising, as I have found him hit or miss.
