Take care, Nancy! Thanks for checking in. All the best to you and yours during this unprecedented frosty time. At least, ground hogs throughout North America went shadowless this morning. So, there is hope!

Thinking of all of you from here in Southern California where we seemed to have had our entire winter/rainy weather all in two weeks around Christmas and are now back to pleasant weather.
Safe travels to all the nutters heading to Dallas.

Happy Groundhog's Day, folks! It's 72 degrees in sunny Williamsburg today. Weird.

I hope all are safe around the country.

Thanks for the well wishes! I am extrememly lucky to still have electricity. I have friends that did lose power. It was a very scary storm. I can't walk outside my front door because it's literally an ice skating rink. Looks like I'll wait until Friday to try to venture to the mailbox when the weather starts warming up. It seems to have been a rough weather season these past few months for all. Nancy, I hope the bad weather eases up in your area & that the power stays on for you. Jan, glad you & your family are safe. I hope Nutters heading to Dallas have safe travels. Stay safe in this weather, everyone.

The weather has followed me home. Two inches of snow here so far and still falling.

Shit, luna! When my Dad told me that he heard they were expecting snow in Alabama, I was hoping he had his states confused. But you and your Honda are seasoned veterans now. You could even teach a defensive winter driving course. I hope the freakish weather passes quickly and is followed by a rapid melt.

I wouldn't mind a day off from work tomorrow. I need a vacation after last week's vacation.

Unlike Dallas, today we just had a nice fluffy blanket of snow and clear roads with no ice. So the driving was fine, but I did have to go to work.

Well we've gone a week without snow or ice, but now it's mother freaking COLD! The piles of snow & ice are not melting. Ugh!
