Postby cillae on 09 Jan 2011 16:33

Hi there and happy New Year to the green Community
I talked with Armand Sabal lecco and he confirmed Stewart's participation on his project ' The rest of the world ' .
The Cd will be released on february or march so stay tuned.
Dietmar if you 're reading this post , I think Armand will give the precise dates for the Chateau Marouatte sessions.
Here you can listen to what it will sound like

oh, I'm reading !

as far as I know Stewart was at Château Marouatte in September 1997 (1 week is covered) and in May 1999 (before May 25.

would like to learn more and to create a page about Armand on the wiki as well
(as he was involved with Stewart several times he deserves a page !)

if you talk to him you could also ask if he wants to provide further information about himself and Stewart stuff
and maybe a picture

bye

Dietmar, I believe Jeff Beck was also present during the May 1999 Marouatte period.

OK, I think you have to be
a) logged on to Facebook
and
b) a friend of the user "Stewart Copeland".

Here they are:

Thanks rudiger
Never seen these shots before . What a find
These are drawn from Stewart's recording with Howard Jones for the 'Everything' song recorded on September '97 at Chateau Marouatte with Eric Gales on guitar and Greg Wells on bass.
Still have no answer for the jeff Beck recording for a song called 'Eat it '( I remembered Stewart talking about this session but didn't find any trace of it - 99 ?? with participation of Joe Sumner.
As far as the ' Louis hansa ' recording maybe 94 or 2001 ?? Still have to ask Armand for more , but I think is on a recording process right now. Maybe Jeff could tell us more ...
Thanks

Find also this on the web but I seriously doubt about it , not Stewart's style at all and pretty sure he did not record these but perhaps did they meet at this time through Stanley Clarke.
1994
VARIOUS ARTISTS - "Little Big League" soundtrack (RCA 66460-2). Beck reunites with Stanley Clarke and meets Stewart Copeland for "Luv Bended" and "Comisky Park". Jeff, having been biten by the Pulp Fiction surf music revival bug, redoes "Walk Don't Run" with members of the Big Town Playboys (Ian Jennings and Mark Morgenson). Also the song "Wild Weekend" was recorded at this time but not used in the movie. (See our soundpage.)
