Do we have any Nutters who are Postal employees? On the risk of being offensive, I think the Postal Service is using the holidays to ramp up the vacation days and s-l-o-w d-o-w-n. I've gotten luna_virgo, drummike, visions, and MariaH's (I forgot you were a designer. Very cool!) cards.

I'm uploading this pictures to say Merry Happy again to all Nutterdom.

Don't worry lt, they'll all get to you when they ought to! And Old Christmas is like Jan 6 or 7, so plenty o' time! I like having one or two over three or four weeks, it just keeps Nuttermus going as long as possible, heeheehee-no, hohohoho.....

I used to work for the postal service many years ago and I can tell you that at least where I worked there was practically no leave allowed during the month of December. One year I missed one day because of the flu. I should have taken the whole week off (I even had a light case of pneumonia as a result) but I was afraid of receiving disciplinary action if I took off any more times than I did. One year I did not have a day off from Halloween until Christmas Day. They usually hire temporary workers to just sort all the Christmas cards but I'm not sure if that is the case any more now that they have increased the automation of sorting the mail in the time since I worked there.

Hey kids. Thanks for you all who have sent your cards. They are lovely. You know holiday time is hectic for some. Right now it is for me. I just got a full time job working. Yay. I wanted to let you know. My cards will be late, I do appologize for this. But wanted to let you know, they may be late, but worth the wait. Thanks for the lovely cards and creativity behind them. Love them. They are on display on a decorated desk next to my tree. My neighbors who have come by have seen them and think it is absolutely awesome we have this kool exchange. You are awesome.

Love your lil nutter christmas elf,
Shannon

Ps. Thanks for all my Birthday wishes on Facebook. I really appreciate that from the bottom of my heart.
Hmm. my neighbors are having a party...might go crash and kick it up for a minute..lol. j/k. I went to the mailbox earlier, walked past, then on the way back, they broke out in a full Happy Birthday seranade and mariachi music from the boombox at a gazillion decibels. What a party.

Ahh.. I went outside and waited for kids dad to get home. The neighbors saw me standing outside still blasting their mariachi music at a gazillion decibels and invited me over for a little festivities. Yay. Carne asada and salsa, tortillas, a little tequilla and a few bottles slamed down via Corona. Lord please help me wake up and stay awake during tomorrows shift. Ugh. Its now what time. I need to get a little sleep. Hope it is a slow day tomorrow work wise, but that it goes by quickly.

Hello Shannon. I really please to hear about your full time job-what a blessing in this economy ( i have some struggling friends here, and Cinci didn't get hit as hard as some!). That news is a Nuttermus Greeting in and of itself! Take care out there in NV.
