I bought that bus when I saw it...ok, just kidding!
But if I had the money to buy, I would probably do it...of course I should have the place where to put it, but if I had the money to buy a bus, I would probably have an estate big enough to park it there.

A sort of mobile Police memorabillia unit.

The story behind this photo was that a few weeks ago I contacted the bus company and asked if I could buy photos of the bus with the idea that I would put them in the Nutter Christmas cards. They thought it was a strange request but said that someone would 'get back to me'.

I didn't hear anything for ages and assumed that I had been dismissed as a bit of a .... well ... Nutter. Then yesterday I got an e-mail from the marketing assistant at Southern Vectis. It would appear that they don't have photos for sale but he was kind enough to e-mail me this one to show everyone.

Stewart has a strong personality, so when I saw The Police and his drumm kit, he is there, no matter if picture don't show his body.

I remember long time ago when I saw a shot of The Police when sync tour, and only see Sting and Andy, and wonder where is my lovely drummer, because the scene is withouth instruments, is just like trash in different colors.

Then I find him laying down in front of his friends.



Stewart presence always be in The Police.

Sure, and by the way, THE POLICE was (and still IS) is own band, his little creation, his punk-rock-trio project...so looking at what his little project reached, being advertised like that at the back of a bus...well, it says it all.

It's my believe that we couldn't see him because he'd gone up the ventilation grill all the way to the engine to make that bus go Faster Faster Faster!

With some of the hills we have on the Island, forget horsepower we could definately do with some Stewart power in all of our vehicles.
