I am glad that Gina will be making it.

However, I have an un-SQUEE. My wife is quite ill with the flu and that may keep me from making it. At the moment, she isn't up for watching the little guy in my avatar for several hours on Saturday night. She make be so by then. I guess I could bring little Sam and sit at the back of the theatre and leave when he starts to cry. He would love to get attention from the Nutters at dinner, assuming the resturant will allow those not even 21 months old to come.

Julia, I have a meeting tomorrow near the White House from noon to one. I am free to grab lunch if you are free and in the area a little after 1, before I head back to my office. I have your cell phone number from a couple of years ago and can reach you by that if you still have it.

Hope to see people on Saturday.

Soooo tempting to try to grab something last minute as well, but...looks like my car may be totaled from a wreck I had last month (woman ran a red light and hit me head-on...wear those seatbelts, folks) and I'm in the thick of doing battle with the insurance company. Have fun, all! Can't wait for the photos/reports.

By all means, bring Sam! His first (?) Nutter event! And an instant Andy-magnet! How could he resist a second generation Nutter?

Have you heard the forcast for Saturday night? Wintry mix in Williamsburg. What will it be doing in DC??? Nutter magic! I can't wait to resurrect the What's It Doing Outside thread!

Oh, have fun guys! I wish I could have gone. I will be thinking of you.

Conroy, where's your Sally?! Someone needs to bring him Sally!!! Photos!!!

When I went to a One Train Later signing in NYC, he also signed my ancient copy of Throb, which I brought with me. He was very obliging. And a big fat liar, lol, as it was the fall of 2006 and he said with a straight face that there would never be a reunion, which of course, was already in the works at the time.

I am up WWWAAAYYYY too early, but have the Christmas music on the radio and am ready to rock and roll!

My friend Susan are taking the train out at 9:30 AM. However on this particular Saturday, Williamsburg has had to move our annual Christmas parade up one hour (to 8:30) to accomodate a William and Mary playoff game at 1:30PM. Both of these events take place within 3-4 blocks of the train station which means we will take another hour to find a parking place (walking was considered).

See you guys at 5:30!

Ya'll. It's time! It's time!! I'm sitting here in my jammies at my parents's house getting ready to look up maps and doodads for our trip. I am kicking myself because I didn't bring one Andy-related item with me to have signed and everyone is scaring me about not being able to get in line to have Andy sign something/anything. But I DO have a camera! =)

Ok. I still have to take a shower and get ready to leave by noon. Love you all. So glad Gina is able to come, as well as Dan.... and Bets, so sorry to hear about your accident. I hope it all works out.

I will be the first attendee to report, although I have nothing much to report since Sam and I were asked to leave the event.

Before our departure, we have a lovely dinner with friends.

I brought my 15 month old son Sam since my wife is under the weather.

Sam did great at dinner but at the event, less so.

Gina Supercat was the signed copy of the Desire Walks Alone.

But during the intro of Andy, Sam started fussing and we were asked to leave. We went to the area right behind the theatre door but still make too much noise.

So we went to the outer lobby and I put Sam on the floor to crawl around. He enjoyed a lot and make happy baby sounds, which prompted a request to stop that too.

So we left.

I did go back in to get out stuff and saw Andy showing and discussing pictures from Desire.

That's all I have which isn't much.

It is ironic for a toddler to be asked to leave an event with a rock star for making little noises.

Oh well. It was good to see friends and Sam had a good time so it is fine.

Toddler too rowdy for a rock star?? My goodness. I think Andy is the one missing out. Your little guy is a cutie.

thanks for checking in anyway!

I didn't think I would make this on time due to last minute work issues, but I managed it.
If I'm not mistaken there was a nutter group on the far right?
I didn't even hear a baby, I can't believe they asked you to leave!!!
Still the presentation was great and Andy's green and black ensemble was fetching. Left as soon as it was done as work project still not finished but I was so glad I made the effort.
