From Kurt Gilchrist @ In The Studio

North American syndicated Rock radio show InTheStudio celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the American breakthrough album by THE POLICE, Zenyatta Mondatta. Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers discuss with show host and producer Redbeard the virtues of being a 3-piece band, the freedom it provided and how they always strived to do something more than straight pop rock songs. InTheStudio airs on 55 stations across North America.

Are the interviews new or from the archives?

Thanks for the link Gio. I really enjoyed the interviews - I loved Stewart's phrase "noodle concerto".

At the start of the program Redbeard stated that a quartet with a non-instrument playing singer was basically a trio with a singer. I think that's ridiculous, since when is singing not a musical instrument?. if it was a keyboard player you don't say you have a trio with a keyboard player. A singer contributes musically and to the group dynamic. The Who was not a trio with Roger Daltrey.

Other than that, I thought it was a very entertaining program.
