Bummer!

I go to the Ortho dr. tomorrow for an XRay so I should know if I will be driving by then.

Con, it's well worth it to check out the muesum. They have some amazing stuff, I am pretty sure something from the Police as well.

My appt and Xray went well. I just have a small separation in the bone on my heel still. Dr. said 2-4 weeks. What sucks is I can't put any weight on my right heel which is exactly what you do when you drive! The dr. said let pain be your guide, when I can put weight on it then you know it's healed.

So if I am free that night, driving by then looks doubtful, so getting a ride Conroy would be awesome. I just don't want to inconvenience you if you are staying down by LAX.

Anyone hear from Omaha?

Laz? Maybe he'll come down. I ran into him at the Amoeba signing.

And it looks like my mp3 player that I used to record the audio from the show died while I was asleep. Basically, the show started with a montage that included clips from the Orchestralli and other highlights from Stewart's career. Then there was a Q&A with the host (I believe it was Grammy Museum curator but Meg would know for sure) and bits where Stewart read from his book, including the chapter about the Lion scene in the Rhythmatist ad then they showed the scene right after. They also showed a bit from the Better Than Therapy dvd after Stewart talked about his kids including Jordan who directed that documentary. Then, before they opened the floor for the audience to ask questions, they showed the teaser for the new project. The first question from the audience was about the white shorts because we saw them in the teaser. I think Stewart used the opportunity for the Grammy Museum appearance to put this project out there since I don't believe it has been picked up by anyone yet. Here's another hint: It will make those of US disappointed with the Certifiable DVD very happy, especially since a certain someone is mixing the sound.

Hi all,

As ever is with Stewart and nutters, great goofy fun.

Saint Jeff was in the house, and thanks to uncontrollable nutter "Wooooing" when Stewart mentioned "his drum tech and right hand Jeff," there were numerous Jeff shout outs. :) new teaser sounded great btw- a new/old thing that I am definitely looking forward to, especially as I KNOW it will be perfect sonically :)

it occured to me tho- Harrison Ford, Sting called from the 80s and wants his single gold earring back. Thanx bye.

NO PHOTOS inside the museum gallery whatsoever- they were shooting it and recording it for the museum archives, so I am sure we'll all be able to see it for $19.95 or something in the future.

Some snarky drum tech/god txted before the opening that we needed a flag- so we improvised by pulling images of it up on our cells and "subtlely" holidng them up at his entrance. niiiice.

We were a small but mighty group last night, and tried to be a little classy, but, well, SC was as usual his adorable, geeky, gregarious, goofy self. And thanks Stewart, as I have had to teach Phoebe a few new choice words. probably nothing her teenage sister hasn't said!

Like I said, we tried to be classy, but when the flag came up briefly in the montage, when Stewart mentioned Jeff, etc, well, there was definite "WOOOOO!'ing." We were in da house.

At the post show signing, Stewart suggested we had heard all the stories before- but, as you know, that's just not true. You know how when he gets going, has an audience, and is excited he just plays to the audience? well, then the story just isn't always the same.

He did mention enjoying just playing and not worrying about click tracks these days tho. :) really. not kidding.

Can't wait for Dallas and also the Telltale heart now. NICE to have new things to look forward to!
