I'm here to say that I LOVE Fiction Plane and was thrilled to hear they are opening for The Police. I saw them at a festival and they were fantastic. Joe definitely inherited his father's moves. Great energy, great music. Although, I must say, I'm more excited about Foo Fighters opening for them as they are of my favorite bands.

I like that Sting addresses the nepotism question a bit in today's Times article:

"Supporting the Police on the US leg of the tour will be Fiction Plane, whose singer is Sting’s son Joe. 'You probably think this is nepotism. He is aware of this and it is a huge problem for him. He says he doesn’t want to be associated with me. But this is a huge opportunity for him to shine.'"

Thanks Bongo, I found Coco on my space and absolutely love...how can anyone who lists their influences and Nico, The Clash, Django Rhinehart, Oscar Wilde, Neil Young, Pink Floyd be anything but brilliant! Thanks, and I think she would be great to see live

I love Coco's stuff.

I think Stingo should get her in the studio...that type of tune that is rough around the edges but with lots of feeling and great lyrics....ummm..that type of music is scarce these days (IMO).

Release something we can buy Coco!

I also saw them in Luxembourg and they did quite a good job. Stings drummer stood at the side of the stage during half of their set and seemed to like their music a lot.
