TPT.com reveals image of set list during Vancouver practices

[quote="Laz"]yeah, this isn't really a "setlist" for the tour as much as it is a "Master List" of songs to start working on for the tour, at least that's what I gather. Among all the obligatory hits there are a number of nice "gems" if you will... here's to them adding more unexpected numbers... again, having never seen the Police before myself, I'm quite excited about the tour nonetheless...

My thoughts too.

Hmmm... I see no "rarities" or "gems" on that list. It's a great setlist, but there isn't a single song that they haven't played on numerous occasions before.

And regarding the supposed similarities to the Synchronicity Tour setlist, there are 9 songs on the new list that they did not perform on that tour.

BTW, here's the number of songs from each album (counting 'Voices' from the WTWIRD intro):

Outlandos - 5
Reggatta - 6
Zenyatta - 6
Ghost - 5
Synchronicity - 7

Pretty even I would say.

And I too would love to hear some B-sides and rare stuff, but that's pretty unlikely considering they are not just playing for the die-hard fans.

There are really only six on the list that weren't played during the 83-84 tour. They did do Next To You, Everylittle Thing, and Demolition Man the first show of the tour, but still not much.

Good list!.But for me "I Bur for You" and "Secret Journey" Missing.I think that will be the "skeleton" of the tour songs and they ´ll introduce slight variations...

Well, none of my longshots or hopefuls that i wasn't already expecting are on the list, but i can't really say i'm terribly surprised by it...

Sounds like a good selection of songs to me. Would like to rock out to Secret Journey though.

After all this time,as long as they enjoy themselves, who cares what they play.

They can play anything, just play it LOUD!!!! (From Good Morning Vietnam)

I think they should play 3 songs from Synchronicity...EBYT, King of Pain, and Wrapped Around Your Finger, and that's it. That's just me, though.

I would love to see them work in Secret Journey and Omega Man. I can't say that there's anything I would want them to cut, but I could live without Murder By Numbers and Walking In Your Footsteps. I just wanna rock. I'm also holding out hope for a brand new song on the setlist at some point.

Cut out King of Pain, Spirits, One World, Bed's Too and Footsteps. And replace them with On Any Other Day, Contact, Mother, Does Everyone Stare, and Hole. Then I'd love the set list, at the moment.
