Did someone wrote a personal e-mail to me?

Hi there my gang; did someone sent an e-mail to my personal address today? I was downloading my mail when my computer system crashed; I could only see some mails were arriving and one of them had the object 'Hi Gio'. I couldn't immediately recognise the name and while I was trying to read it, the computer crashed and I had to restart it; when I logged into my e-mail page, all the new mails arrived today simply disappeared...there weren't many in the last few hours, but I can't see them now. Maybe that one was coming from one of you?

I can't understand how they disappeared anyway, as I haven't read them yet. Maybe some of you know where I can check into my software?
