I wonder how many tickets are available; I haven't done anything yet. And I'm going to need some help with accomodations, 'cause I know nothing...from those of you who do.

I got my tickets in the mail last week! I'm bringing my mama! If you remember, she was supposed to come with me to see Stewart in Savannah, but couldn't at the last minute. She's not missin' this one! Not if I can help it.

Will someone more familiar with the area start thinking "gathering plans" so I can nail down some details? I'm coming up from Williamsburg and may drive back that night. I'm trying to get a vision...

From what I know, the area around the National Graphic is pretty "meh" when it comes to restaurants. There are some good choices up around Dupont Circle (up around P. St). My personal favorite choice for DC grub is Old Ebbitt Grill http://www.ebbitt.com/main/home.cfm?Sec ... the_Ebbitt down by the White House. One thing to keep in mind is if you are planning to drive all the way up there, the parking garage doesn't open until an hour before the show which doesn't leave much time for hunting for grub in DC on a Saturday night. I'd almost suggest parking at a Metro station in NoVA (if coming up from the south) and taking the Metro subway in since parking is free there on weekends. I'm not sure if there is free street parking near the National Geographic on weekends. Depending on what time Andy's show ends, I may try to head over to a show at the Velvet Lounge on U Street as one of my favorite local bands (Screen Vinyl Image) is playing there that night.

I got my ticket the other day.
I think we may come down early and stay over night.
Haven't worked the details out yet. Guess we better work on that!

Bella, glad you're coming :-) Haven't seen you since MSG!

Well... This is really something that I'd like to do. I might just buy a ticket and hope it works out that I can go.

I've got my tickets and and reservations made! Now the only question is: wear the Tama shirt or the Fender Telly? Decisions, decisions...
