Only things on my horizon are Hot Head Show in Atlantic City and Roger Waters twice this fall. Was going to try to get to more Wall shows until house expenses skyrocketed, so at this point I'm almost regretting those two pairs of tickets I *did* buy. Seriously doubting I'll be able to afford anything other than small local shows, if they come up, the rest of this year. So I hope no one I really want to see ends up touring...

Don't laugh, but I'm taking my daughter to see Rihanna with Kesha, and Lady Gaga early next year! I may see Nickelback if they come around. Waiting for Coldplay to finish next album and come back around.

U2 and Simon & Garfunkel never showed up.... so I watched Arcade Fire instead.

Great live band and lots of action : )

Lucky you! I'm still kind of pissed they seem to have given up on the U.S. and didn't do any touring here to support the new album. *sigh*

But I have Roger Waters next Tuesday night at MSG to look forward to, so that's something! I'm hoping against hope it'll be the one show Dave Gilmour has promised to make an appearance at...talk I've heard is that it'll either be in Chicago or in NYC...

Fiction Plane will be in New York on November 15th (Mercury Lounge), it says on their site - I don't know if you can still get tickets. But most of their gigs on this tour are in Europe.

Skunk Anansie?! - I must have had my head under a rock. I had no idea she was touring. Thanks Dietmar.

Mudhoney tomorrow. (Better two decades late than never)
Manic Street Preachers in a couple of weeks. (see above)
There's some composer guy doing something in Holland that I think I'm going to ;-) Extra-curricular tour of The Netherlands courtesy of Maud is a joy to anticipate.
All Tomorrow's Parties in December.
I recommend that anyone near London goes to An Appointment with Mr Yeats. Mike Scott (The Waterboys) has set a number of W B Yeats works to music. Saw it in Dublin this year (thanks to Maria on here). It was magnificent. 3/4 Feb at the Barbican. https://www.barbican.org.uk/music/event ... p?ID=11335

I saw Pavement with Sonic Youth last week, which was great. On November 3rd we're going to Paul Weller at the Wiltern in LA, but what I'm really excited about is Grinderman on November 30th at the Music Box!
