The end of The Police: A fond look back...

The end of The Police: A fond look back...

Postby Charliearnoid on 04 Aug 2010 22:01

WOOT!! Two years ago, many of us descended on New York City for the final week of the Police Tour. This thread is to celebrate that week of wonder. If you have fond memories that you'd like to share or maybe some photos, this is that place.

I'll start. I think that most of these are from Jones Beach 1 and 2, and from the dinner after the Elvis taping in Harlem.

I got a little misty eyed looking at this as I had reasons similar to English-lion for not attending any Police frivolity or concerts.
I should have looked into protective earphones for the infant set OR like most normal humans gotten a babysitter.

Yes thank you so much Charliearnoid, lovely pictures. I wish I'd been there for that last week but still very grateful for seeing two shows in England.

I'd love to know who is who as well.

Anyone?

I actually thought that was an super enthusiastic concert goer until you pointed that out!
Hilarious.
Who was responsible for walking around with her? Did she get a seat or was she tossed around like a beach ball? I need to dig up that report!

Yep me too!

I thought it was an annoying bloke doing irritating thumbs up Dad dancing in the background.

It's been a long week. I can't wait for the weekend.
