Philly in the house!

Philly in the house!

Postby kevinc on 03 Mar 2007 01:54

Even though I live in Maryland, I couldn't wait and bought tickets for the show in Philly. Actually, it is embarrasing because I was so nervous ordering via the Fan Club, I thought I was ordering tickets for the Hershey Park, PA show which is an hour closer. Regardless, I was able to get 4 Field Level Seats for the Philly show. Awesome. My wife and I are taking the grandparents with us to babysit while we are lucky enough to go with two of our friends. A 4-day Police weekend in Philly :)

KevinC,

See you there, what section did you get with the Fan club?

I did BBRZ and got section JJ

I got 2 tix today too. I hate to say it, but was it me or was the Comcastix site much better organized than TM? You definitely had more choices of where you wanted to sit - I chose the 100,200,300 level seating option and it came back right away with 100 level seats. TM only lets you choose 1 level at a time, if you don't choose "best available". Don't get me wrong, they both sold their souls to the devil, but I think Comcast might be slightly less damned.

Yeah, I agree. Some people were bitching about comcastix before but I found them reasonably easy to use -- except for successfully registering on the site before the show...I thought I had, but then it turned out I hadn't, and I *still* can't figure that out.

They did seem to make the process a little less painful otherwise (and I can NEVER get those scrambled word tests right on ticketmaster until the second or third try...I found the cct ones a lot easier to read and decipher.)

Thanks guys. Like I said, I was nervous, so I just hit $225 and it locked in 4 tickets, I didn't want to lose out, so I just kept following the prompts. They also had that 6 minute countdown to where you had to get all of your billing info in there, so I felt rushed a bit. I am in section BB row 28 on the field, so I am very happy.

Look forward to talking more about the Philly show prior to July 19th :)

Hoping they come to my home State of Maryland. Would be nice to see them in Baltimore or even DC in the Fall, but I was not going to take the chance :)

Hey sockii, where are you seats for the show? I too was as happy as one can get buying online but did like the Comcast better then TM.

Hope all is well.
