OK, I've gone ahead and bought a ticket for the NY show on the 6th, hopefully can make it ok (my life is too crazy at the moment). I may try to make the Baltimore show on Tuesday but will wait until the last minute before buying a ticket.

But speaking of crazy life, it looks like I'm fucked and won't be able to make the West Chester show - which of course I have 4 tickets for at this point. Lara, one will definitely go to you, I'll see you in NYC if not in Baltimore. But it turns out I need to do a partial move-out on the 8th so I likely will be out of town the night before, ugh.

(I will be very glad when house/moving/family shit settles down and I can make plans that don't keep getting fubar'ed.)

Bummer. ): Baltimore is a tentative yes, and I wasn't going to do NYC initially but if I fly in to Philly from Boston, I think I'll just hire a car, drive down to Baltimore & back, then train it in to NYC & drive to the West Chester show. Damn you T-Hawk, why couldn't you play in Philly proper??? Aren't there enough damn bars there???

IDGI either. There are tons of great venues in Philly I'd pick over going to West Chester, but, whatever.

If you fly in to Philly after Boston, I can still offer crash space no problem (just excuse the moving boxes) and maybe share the costs for the ride down to Baltimore & back? As Friday night is the only night (it figures) that as of now I won't be around.

(We can take this to email too... :P )

Well, I'm still going to the show on Monday in Toronto, but I've been unsuccessful in rounding up any locals. I still have a spare ticket if there are any last minute takers.
Have fun at the stateside gigs later in the week, y'all. I'll be with you guys in spirit.

Frak. I need to be in town Wednesday night already for something I can't cancel, and things have gotten insane fast.

Any idea when you guys will line up or gather earlier in the day? I'm just not sure I can spare another night out, but I certainly want to try and get in at some point while Larissa's in country.

Have a great time, llady! Sorry that I still need to call you.

NYC is Thursday night (the 6th). Nothing's scheduled for Wednesday except me collapsing for part of the day at least back home in Philly

Gah, sorry, sock. That was clearer inside my own head. What I meant to say is that, because I have to be in Manhattan on Wednesday for a meeting I cannot miss, it becomes harder for me to find the time to spare to go back into town again the next day. Everything's gone kinda slantways, so I've got a finite number of hours to play with this week. I certainly want to try to see you guys if I can on Thursday, though.

I certainly will! And no worries about the call. I just hope it's a good kind of crazy that has you so busy right now.

I'm cursing myself for not coming around more often!

Philly/WC might be doable for me! Are there still tickets?

I had a great time. The songs from TH's new album are certainly catchy. I've been enjoying them for a week or two now, but seeing them performed live was a nice treat.
It was crowded, but the venue is so small that I can honestly say that there were less people there than at one of my kids' school concerts. It made for an intimate gig.
The guitarists and bass player were great, but for me, it was still all about the drummer. He was very affable and funny with his between song patter. And he was a mad man on the drums. I used to think that Taylor Hawkins was the human embodiment of the muppet Animal. Though that still rings true, I realized last night that Taylor Hawkins is indeed Bam Bam all grown up. He looks like an adult Bam Bam. He loves smashing his drums like an adult Bam Bam. Barney and Betty must be so proud!
In short, the evening rocked.
