Police reunion "shoulda's"

Police reunion "shoulda's"

Postby Johnny O on 16 Apr 2010 13:42

OK, I can't let the Police go. I freely admit it.
I was joyously shocked to find this on YouTube last night.

Man, the talent these fuckers have. Great re-imagining (even if its a goof) on how to re-do an old tune...

Would of LOVED to hear stuff like this more during Tourzilla.

Peace!

p.s. It was taxday in US this week. Americans, how do your ankles feel? 8)

Hi there. My first post here, and I have a question. Wasn't there a "slow" version of "Truth Hits Everybody" that was a B side at some point? The link you posted sounds a lot like it. Anyone have any idea where to find this? Thx

Yeah, I believe i was a 1983 re-recording during the Sync sessions? You can find it on YouTube if you search "Truth Hits Everybody 1983". It sounds alot like the Tourzilla version.
I love the 1981 live rehearsal version cos they were just being creative and having fun...

Yes, that was fucking incredible! Makes me feel like a teenager again (even though the Police weren't the Police when I was a teen!) So wondreful; I want to cry it's so perfect.

I couldn't hear exactly what you were referring to at 2:41 though; I assume it's HIM saying just that!
