What a great show Jordan has put up with his band!!!!!!!!
People, go and see his band if you can, I do strongly suggest you!
Consider that Les Claypool's fans loved them, they bought about 100 copies of the cd at the show, and that's a number around here!
Music isn't easy to be described, and that's a good thing in my opinion as you can't easily say it's like that or that...you can hear many things, but at the same time you don't hear something already done that way.
The formula is bass, guitar and drums; if you really want to give it a 'name', I guess that 'progressive' is the closest genre as it varies a lot in rhythms used, as well as fast changing of timing, with a lot of energy and bizarre harmonies.
I'm sure they will use some of the footage done at every show to be uploaded so you can see and hear by yourself and get your opinion.
I had many people close to me in the crowd asking me the name of the band as they were all very very satisfied with what they were listening to.
the band and I had great time together.
I could not meet Les Claypool as he was always in his dressing room or in the tour bus, but the funny thing (as it always happens to me) is that when I was parking the car a couple of blocks from the venue, I saw him walking by just outside the car, so I opened the window and said 'hey, Les Clypoooooool', then he watched me and say 'hi...'; then I saw Brad close to him (the guy who was working with Stewart at the Police Tour) and said 'Braaaad' ... in that moment Les asked Brad something like...'who's that guy in the car who knows everybody here???'
Anyway, great band, great evening with great friends!
Go and see the show if you can!
You will be very well surprised with such creativity and great music!
