When I first heard this song I hated it so much that I wanted to pull my own ears off. Caught myself singing along to it in the car yesterday though so i almost like it now.... sort of.

Thankfully I've seen sense and am firmly back in my eighties timewarp. Tonight it's Tanita Tikaram - Ancient Heart.

As I write this I'm listening to Munly and the Lee Lewis Harlots CD that I got in the mail yesterday. It is one of the many great acts I've discovered via listening to last.fm. The Harlots style can only be described as Gothic Country or what has become known as the Denver Sound since there are several Denver based acts that have the same dark sound and heavy themes and a lot of the members in this band have been members of other groups from this genre. I've also been listening to a heavy metal/celtic fusion group from German called Ignis Fatuu that is also really cool that I discovered on last.fm. I highly recommend their CD titled ES WERDE LICHT.

His latest album HOT WAX (his only release within the last 10 years!) is pretty cool.
