This is really corny, and it’s going to be a complete buzz kill for your readers

I don't think it's corny.

Awwww, how wonderful.

I'm in the middle of something right now so am gonna re-read this when I get more time, but for now:

So, I would say there is a strong likelihood that Oysterhead will one day find a way to get back together. The Police…same thing.

FUUUUUUUUCK YEEEEEEEEEAH!!!!!!!!!!

CAN I GET AN AMEN?!!!

The really crazy part is actually a younger demographic than my demographic. Jonas Brothers – their fans are much younger, wilder, crazier, and more full of fantasy than Police fans who are in their forties, and so it’s not a problem for me. Back in our younger days, when our fans were young, they were wild and crazy and invasive.

Ahem. I think we nutters (oldies and younger ones) have loads of fantasy, Stewart.
I only stare this way at you

That's a great interview. This guy brings up a lot of different stuff. I don't know about you guys, but I'm gradually coming to recognize Stewart as a composer who used to be a drummer. Not the other way around, which is the way I've always seen him. But reading this, you realize he really does compose much more than he drums. Even though he says it takes an incredible amount of energy to play he clearly enjoys it when he's playing unfettered *ahem*.

I can see O-Head happening again. Read similar comment from Les the other day.
The Police...eh...I won't hold my breath.

Thanks Gio!!

I agree that Stewart is now primarily a composer, not a drummer.

That brings to mind a question that I think I will start a thread on about whether we would prefer Stewart playing someone else's music (other than Sting's) or someone else playing Stewart's music.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music

Well, one thing's sure: He's not going to be lying around resting on his laurels. Which is great, since he could easily afford to do just that (and it's something I worried about personally, after Tourzilla)
