THE TRAUMA! THE TRAUMA! :o

Got my fanclub password right @10am, jumped on the link for tickets...to just be told "please hold" for about 10 minutes because of overload on the system...ARGH!

However, once I finally got through, I managed to have a chance on a block of 4 tickets, which I needed, in Section 108, amusingly just a few rows behind where I got my friend Best Buy tickets the day before!

So I'm all ready to sign in...and the freaking comcast site won't recognize my information from when I registered there the other day!

So I'm frantically retyping everything and praying I don't make a typo while that countdown clock ticked down, but in the end I made it, got my confirmation, my tickets are bought! And hopefully not too sucky...at least they're about the closest tier seating to the stage from what I can tell on the map, though I don't know how the view will be...

Oh, and Comcast is doing their own presale today, which I took a look at but the seats look like they suck - 300 levels only coming up when I tried it. So I'm still going to look at the general sale on Monday as I need to get at least one more friend a ticket, and if I can upgrade my block I will...but at least I have something, so yay!

Yes, thanks! Scored 2 seats! And then....

Ok, so yesterday I mentioned me being lucky enough to win Rush tix from MMR a few years back and today, as luck or karma would have it, I won Police tix from MMR! Pierre did "name that noodle", where he played a 1 sec. clip of a Police song. He played maybe a sec of the guitar break from "Man In A Suitcase". I kept getting a busy signal but finally it rang and he actually picked up. (They pre-record all this during the commercial break) So when I actually heard it back on the radio it turns out that there were 6 or 7 people that guessed the snippet incorrectly, then there I am guessing "Man In A Suitcase" and winning Police tix and an MP3 player! I have no idea where these seats will be, as they told me while getting my info that they won't have the tix for a week or two. So, all these years of listening to and internalizing Police songs finally paid off. All in all, not a bad day. Maybe this is the week I 'll play the Powerball!

Well, I managed to get one 400-level ticket for Philly for one more friend this morning in the regular sale.

It looked like some of the 200-level Hall of Fame box tickets were available at 10 today (which weren't in the presales), but the only $90 tickets coming up were on the 300-level. So I'm glad I got those Fan Club tickets instead (though I will not feel 100% happy and assured until I have those actual tickets in my hands! I noticed today you could order express or print-at-home tickets in the general sale...was it just me or were those options not available during the presales for Philly...?)

Congrats Sockii, on getting more tickets in the general sale.

I didn't see the print at home option on the presale.

Not sure if that's a good thing or bad.
