OT: Nutter "Good Thoughts" request for my Dad

Hello folks. My Dad's initial health issue, which had seemed resolved, has turned dire upon a follow-up exam. So, Dad is scheduled for open-heart surgery on this coming Wednesday 10 February. A cardiac catherization showed lots of little blockages. Dad is 86, and the doctor said that other than this issue, my dad is in great shape. He has never had any health issues before, and this is his first surgery. There is another HUGE snowstorm (2+ feet of accumulation) slated for this weekend, w/ sleet ice on top that Tuesday before. So, am praying for guidance as when best to leave and just for my Mom and Dad. He's still sharp, plays his music, and he used to fix bombers in WW2. And he and my Mom are still 'sweethearts' after 62 yrs. of marriage.

Yes, I will be able too-I 'save ' my paid VAC and Sick just for emergencies. Am probaly going Wee hours early on Tueaday. After Leaving Ohio at Chesapeake (OH that is), sinc KY doesn't do snow remove , will be on I 64/77 Wva Turnpike, and then I 64 E at Beckley to Lexington VA, and then poss. N to CHarlottesville or S to Roanoke, if St rt. 130 along the James-and right thru the Blue Ridge-is still snow/ice covered. So, will try to check in here on Mon. nught for any Virginia Snow updates! Thnx!
