I bought my ticket for tomorrow's show at the 9:30 club last night while I was in the U street area to see Mission of Burma at the Black Cat since it looks like we're just going to have rain instead of the wintry mix they had earlier predicted. I don't know what time I'll get there, but I hope to have at least enough time to grab a quick bite somewhere and a drink pre-show.

Unfortunately now it looks like I definitely won't make it tomorrow night - ended up staying an extra night by my mom as she's got chicks hatching and needs an extra hand making sure they come thru ok (lost 2 early as the mommas weren't nesting right, have three doing good now and three more attempting to break out today!)

Eh, well... they seem to stay on tour, so they'll probably be around again.
