I just can't believe they'd restrict people to six general-sales tix per tour. Do the folks running TPT.com not realize how many fanatic fans The Police have? I'm sure it's an anti-scalping measure, but still.[/quote]

Yeah, I can't believe that could be the case...but I'm gonna make the call in the morning, just to be sure. Ease my mind and all of that.

And of course, there's the fact that with Ticketmaster not involved in Philly ticketing there's the question of how those shows could be factored into any kind of overall tour limit anyway...at least for general sale tickets...

"I don't see any mention of "purchases per household" - only the two ticket per member language. Maybe Ticketmaster can provide more info."

ALthough it says nothing about a "per household" limit on Best Buys terms and conditions (which I read thoroughly before the Presale today), Ticketmaster has a "per household" limit of 2 tickets for BB members. The fine print also says that anyone going over the limit may have some or all of their tickets revoked.

This, of course, has made me puke. I got three sets of tickets today to the Cleveland show; 17th row floor, 3rd row side stage, 1st row side stage. All I wanted to do was go to the show with my best friends, who were working at 10:00 a.m. this morning when the tickets went on sale. Now it looks like I could lose all of these tickets -- tickets I've waited 24 years to get.

And, it seems that if I try to use a TPT code, that could also interfere with my BB tickets, assuming Ticketmaster is kind enough to let me keep two of them.

I shall now go and cry. Seriously.

Oh man! I'd cry too if I lost front row over some clerical misunderstanding.

Don't get out that Kleenex yet, though, mud. Tales such as this one are surfacing over on TPT.com and you just may get those tix.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!
