Call for submissions:'This Is Not Our Last Goodbye'

Postby sockii on 15 Feb 2009 19:29

A couple of folks have emailed about the cover thing - thanks! I will send you guys an email tomorrow with the layout/dimension details.

Also had some questions on how printing/ordering will be handled. As I think I mentioned earlier, I'm planning on using lulu.com. The nice thing with them is, you DON'T have to do up just one big order as it's print-on-demand. So each person can order their copy (or copies directly), they get printed and then shipped directly from lulu. U.S and international, doesn't matter.

I agree. And THIS is why I am in awe of what sockii and anyone else involved is doing - taking US and pulling it together into something. If the content sucks, then that's OUR fault, but for people to be willing to take on the job of collating these collective and individual experiences into a document is astonishing. And I'm beyond grateful for it.

Sockii, you're amazing. Thanks so much for this!
Stewart's book may be shorter, but I think it would have been a whole lot longer if he had had such a generous editor as sockii.

Hey folks!

Please see comment here in Dietmar's new thread:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11190&p=180032#p180032

I'm thinking about, instead of trying to get my act together to get this into a printed format, of compiling the stories into a special section of the PoliceWiki.

Please comment. I think it could actually work out really well and, while not a nice neatly printed book, would still provide a way for all the stories to be compiled and shared - and without costing anyone a dime or having to worry about book layout and publishing.
