OT: Ginger Baker's bio is out

I'm very on the fence on this one. Personally, I never liked his negative attitude towards most of the people he worked with - except Eric and Steve, it seems - but it's a piece of the music history that most interests me.

And I bet that Stew would like to read it. 8)

Now, the book is not out yet, but there are two reviews, one positive and one negative.

Dilemmas, dilemmas...

Did you read the article about him in Rolling Stone a few months ago? He comes across like Dr. Cox on Scrubs, lol. It might be an interesting read. Wait for it to hit the $1 bin ;-)

As I have been a devoted WInwood follower, I read that he only has respect (and speaks well of) Steve and Eric in the book. I do know he has a reputation for being a big-time grouch. That's why it should be fun to read!

Should be interesting. I'll probably wait until the bargain bin, too, though.
