A good relief program is run by my alma mater, the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health: Their Center for Refugee and Disaster Response is already in place in Haiti. One can donate directly to the Center at www.jhsph.edu/refugee/make_a_gift/ . There is a category for emergency response, and you can specify Haiti (as I did).

The consecuencess of the Quacke in Haiti are devastated, all of us watched on TV emblematic buildings like their Government Palace or main church were totally destroyed like a bomb crashed on Port-Prince, but the main fact is that Haiti is considered the more poorest nation in America... Old people and children are the most affected about it... Do you think is it possible a support from musicians or music industry? Considering caribean area brought and brings to world music like Calypso, Reggae, Merengue, and lot of stuff... Don't forget, like some SC fans before that Montserrat Island were the headquarters for lot of main bands ... why not giving some support t Haiti with something like this?:

and hope if it happen Sting, Stewart and Andy could be involved on it...

I saw what happened in 2 valleys in Nelson Co VA in '69 when Hurricane Camille routed out EVERYTHING, I was 6 and I can still remember how awful. That was 160 people and a few valleys in 2 counties, can in no way imagine what these folks are experiencing and how are they going to cope, get it all back on a path to some order....it is horrific!
Folks just have to see if they can donate what they can via responsible/credible organizations, and just pray, send out any good vibe/thoughts.....
