Death is watching us how we celebrate Life.
Please try to do a song which can embrace the WHOLE.
And so Fear will become Energy.
I send you true street positive inspiration.
Have a good day you in your obscurity and all people in here!

Cool beans, I love it when Stewart stops by to say hi, even if it is all-to-brief.

Happy New Year, King Nutter!

Hey STEWART!
Happy New Year! Hope you and your family are showered with much happiness in the year ahead!

And speaking of showers, I love 'em hot and long! However, your inquiry led me to some research and my findings lead me to some concern about your "horny layer." Please take care with the towel...you want to pat, not rub!! And for gong's sake, remember to moisturize!

Hi Stewart! A Happy New Year for you too... I am very impressed seeing your post recently, because I am at Cuzco - Peru since January 1st and I never touch internet since that day, travelling to Machu Picchu again and seeing all other wonderfull places Incas made - the same route Andy made on January 2009... well here also I found some andean peruvian percussion instruments with some special sounds... I hope to upload some pics of it when I return to Lima next week.

The best for you in this 2010,

from Cuzco Peru,

Jose

PS: I made some POLICE shots with the panoramic view of Machu Picchu 8)

Many thanks for all of your notes to Melisa. Many of the typos and mistakes were caught by her the first time around – but then appeared in the text anyway. For the next edition she’ll stand over the typesetters with a flattened tuba.

Meanwhile it’s heaven here in obscurity. I’m writing little pieces for percussion ensemble, kind of a Mkrokosmos for drums. They will, I hope, be coming soon to a conservatory near you. The studio has also been clanging with Gamelan bells for a mission that you all know about but which isn’t yet formally announced. It’s going to be waaay cool!

I hope you all have a great year. And a good next decade too!

Best,

Stewart

P.S. Am I the only person who likes showers?

Io, Saturnalia!

Good to hear from you, Stewart! Would have responded sooner, but I was lingering in the shower. Have a great new year, Maestro.

ps. Any advance planning notice from you, Melisa or Derek regarding the gamelan performance would go over really well here. I saw a TV show recently that featured some beautiful gamelan music -- fascinating sound. I can't wait to hear your take on it!

"King Nutter!"

BWAhahah...

Thanks, I needed a larf this morning. Just hiked three miles on no sleep in 28-degree weather, at 7 AM (don't ask)

[Well, OK: desperate to get back in shape due to upcoming ski trip, desire to not be log-shaped. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do...]

At this point I dont know if I can legitimately say Happy New year so I will say welcome to twenty-ten.

Glad to see you pop in on the Boards, Stewart! *waves*

I know its too late for the music festival 2010 but Savannah was a really great venue. Wouldnt you like to come back to the nice sleepy South?

Gamelan, huh? Will check it out. Am looking forward to whatever little percussion delights you might do. Plane ticket in hand just awaiting a destination :P

Showers: Like 'em hot, steamy & long lasting about 3 days. I would be a horror to the Africans who have to tote the water 15 miles up river in a tin bucket. Shower: also known as the think tank.

Oh and Stewart? Feel free to pop in anytime. We love hearing from you. I'll leave the light on for you.
Happy Halloweenie
