good point and if I recall correctly late 2006 was when Andy was promoting "One Train Later," for which he did at least two book events in NYC alone. The phone call might not have happened yet, but I was at one of the book events, and even in hindsight there was no clue what was coming. Not even an offhand comment like "we got together for Stewart's move and we were SO happy to be hanging out together again." Nothing.

And besides attending other bands concerts (e.g., U2, Sting's winter concert), WHERE IS ANDY AND WHAT IS HE DOING? CAN SOMEONE ANSWER THIS PLEASE? Thank you. :)

Silly thing to say...in fact they're working on some new material and hopefully the fans will witness another great tour!/quote]

Sorry, Secret Journey Ranch, but "meaningful", "new", and "great tour" in the same phrase as the Stones sounds waaay stale to me.

"Meaningful litigation": how about their rhythm section leaving them? Even Charlie Watts had enough of rephrasing the same riffs stolen from Robert Johnson et alia a long time ago, and of a singer which has never learned to sing for s**t, but is a miracle worker on charisma (and finances).

So much for silly. On Da P'leece and yet another resurrection, I think we thoroughly and dispassionately agree 8)

Maybe I misread STEWART's book, but my impression from that was that the chances of STEWART ever agreeing to making a Police album with Sting was as likely as Ike and Tina Turner making a new album (when Ike was still alive, of course).

Did anyone else get a different impression?

How much of Sting's take from Tourzilla has Trudie already spent? She seemed to be pushing Sting's Winter Album more than Sting himself in that Nightline interview a few weeks ago.
