Hmm, it's been ten years but I remember the first baby poo being black and very sticky. I believe it's called meconium and consits of amniotic fluid. And then there is the projectile poo.

kinda relevant... wife's cousin had a baby recently-ish, and the little girl emerged with her first pooh on top of her head! Oh, i SO cannot wait til she's 16 to tell her.... "shithead!"

Thats right!...the liver is not working for the first few days so nothing is processed and the blood cells remain intact.
Poop is yellow cecause of no bilirubin breakdown
