Just a funny line a saw in the December Time Magazine.

10 Questions with Dave Grohl.

Question 10

You play many different roles in your various musical endeavors. Which do you enjoy the most?

Answer

I love being a drummer. Everyone thinks you're dumb. What they don't realize is that if it weren't for you, their band would suck.

Thank you Dave. So sick of the drummer being the red headed stepchild of the music world. Never understood that phrase since I love red heads but I used it anyway.

I had a laugh the other night at a show of a 30-year-old jazz band watching as most of the band mingled in the audience hugging and chatting with friends and family during the break while the drummer was the one shaking hands with strangers and hawking CDs at a booth on the side.

Some nice questions in that article. Nice to know that the chewing gum has some purpose.

Thanks, EQ.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.
