Hey I surely <3 ska, usually mostly first and second wave, but they hail from Penn State and I'd love to give em an ear!

Sockii, GSC & Co:

I am rooting for going this show.
I have not seen these guys play together in years, but I know the Sax Player and Bassist from my own Penn State days. I sent Doug (sax player) a note.
If we go, and make some noise, I'd bet we can get them to play 'Can't Stand Losing You' without much trouble.

Regardless, they will be fun.
Tix in advance is not a bad idea, as they don't play as often as they used to.

What I really want to know, though, is:

Does anybody want to play some music?
It seems a shame to bring together all these musical types and not play some....
I want to hear all these new drummers....

The question, alas, is where.

Hi Everyone,

Below are the entrée selections for the upcoming party…

1. Pollo Valdostana - boneless chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto & fontina cheese & finished with portabello mushrooms & sun-dried tomatoes in a marsala wine sauce.

2. Tilapia Biordi- Fresh rainforest tilapia filet lightly breaded with Italian seasoned bread crumbs & baked with artichokes, lemon, white wine & served on a bed of fresh sauteed spinach

3. Butternut squash ravioli

I need your choice by Monday, Nov 30th at 3PM EST. Please post here…

Final headcount for the reservation is the following day…Tuesday, Dec. 1st at 3PM EST. Post regrets here as well. However, if there are any last minute changes beyond this deadline and you can’t make it, you may still need to pay for your meal. The restaurant may waive the charge, but it’s not a guarantee.

See everyone in about 2 weeks. ;)

Hah. If we hang out @ my place on Sunday afterwards, I can probably warn my neighbors/tenants if folks want to bring instruments and make some noise...the gallery has some pretty decent acoustics...

Also: are you by chance bringing out your jewelry to the craft fair?

Yeah, I am basically just bringing jewelry for the craft fair. It's a cute event to benefit the local senior citizens center, lots of great crafty stuff for the holidays, gift baskets, and also super cheap munchies during the day. And of course everything else will be out on display back at the house.
