Hyperbole. As usual, Maestro tends to get a little overdramatic. I'm sure Stingo and Andy didn't really consider the Fucking Best Drummer on the Planet a liability in any way.

I certainly hope so. Also, hope there really isn't any bitterness left between them.

So true.

Nice to see something Stewart on tp.com also.

I was surprised they had it too. Also glad that they've been putting quotes from STH in the daily quote section.

London Coven; our work is done!!!!!!!

(thinks; i was the flag bearer, i was the flag bearer. ably supported by beautiful people yadda yadda but i was the flag bearer for the gig where stew thought "we are one with them")

Great interview. Thanks for posting.

When I read this stuff though it makes me a little sad. I know Stewart can handle himself but it must of sucked to have your 2 band mates sort of gang up on you especially! when your the best thing going in the trio.

Im glad he doesnt have any bitterness cuz Sting has been heavily influenced, helped and boosted up by all the Copeland brothers without much seeming gratitude... but then again I guess its just another brother thing, no? or that stoic British exterior.

Thanks for the post. Stewart is so honest, funny, eloquent and right! His instinctive playing gives the Police something that Sting cannot. Sting's solo efforts tend to be rather pompous and not explosive enough. I really do hope that Sting learns to appreciate and express his appreciation for Stewart. BTW, Stu's book is awesome. What a cool guy!
