Recording of Trey w/ STEWART 12-7-05

Recording of Trey w/ STEWART 12-7-05

Postby TheEqualizer on 02 Nov 2009 14:48

It has recently come to my attention that on December 7, 2005, Stewart Copeland joined Oysterhead bandmate Trey Anastasio for 2 songs during the encore at Trey's show at the Wiltern Theater in LA. One of the songs played was an Oysterhead song and the other was CSLY. I have also learned that a decent recording was made of this show. However, I cannot find a torrent site where this show is currently being seeded.

If anyone has this show, it would be appreciate if it could be shared somehow.

Didn't mean to be so generic in my post. The Oysterhead song played was Rubberneck Lions.

The playing by Stewart on these tracks are pure joy.

I like how Trey introduced STEWART: "He was in one of the greatest power trios of all time . . . OYSTERHEAD!"

Warning: Trey's vocals on CSLY are not for the faint of heart.
