If I am going to buy a Winter album this year, it's going to be
My Christmas by Andrea Bocelli
(Sorry Sting)

I've only gotten about 1/3 the way thru, but I can say I liked the other version of Gabriel's Message he did a couple of years back better. Soul Cake is a catchy ditty. I'll have to listen to the whole thing a few times before I can really decide.

Many hardcore fans were unhappy about the commercial step the band took, were angry about the lack of originality that Reggatta had instead, and said the band just sold its soul to the big public doing bad songs.
Comments were more or less the ones I'm reading here.
You really can't make everyone happy, but the most important thing is that an artist should be happy about his work, and that he does it with an honest mood towards the music (then we all know that in a position like Sting, you have to deal with tons of other elements that sometimes makes you move not exaclty like your head is telling you, but I totally trust Sting and I'm totally sure he did it with all his passion and creativity...and sincerely, listening to the record, I feel it).
