OT: U2 in Chicago

My ex-hubby lives literally up the street from the stadium housing the gig tonight. He talked about it on the phone tonight because he said the crowds and traffic were the craziest he has ever seen them for any show or game. When I told him that I thought one of my "Police friends" was at the concert I could almost hear his eyes rolling.

LL, this is happening at all the stops on this tour. Full capacity. Reporters fail to realize that U2 figured out how to sell ALL the seats plus a big portion of the field. The area typically closed off behind the stage is NOT closed off...so you have full capacity. But isn't that the case for football games, at least sometimes? At every stop it seems the people who are supposed to manage traffic have been inept at doing so.
