It's OFFICIAL - Amoeba Instores Announced

When I read this I thought CG5 was referring to the symphony's season starting in late 2010 and extending into 2011. That would mean that Stewart's piece will not be performed until part way through the season in '11. Wasn't it going to be a big deal number like their 50th or 25th season?

However, this is just my guess. Perhaps Laurie could clarify. And your question was far from stupid. Save the surgery defense for really dire situations like having one item over the limit in the grocery store express lane.
Me three.

And does that mean it won't come to the U.S. :?
I don't know about that but I read that Ben Hur is returning to London's O2 for two dates, Jan. 15 and 16, 2010. Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 6.

The Amoeba In-store was great. Really can't add much more than folks have already mentioned. Stewart was very gracious and took time and chatted with everyone. I got the feeling he enjoys seeing the other stuff people bring along to be signed. He seemed happy to see my poster.

When I mentioned seeing him next in Dallas June '10, he said, as Laurie reported previously, that he's not actually scheduled until 2011. I know a lot of theatre and symphony seasons run from fall until the following summer. Then they have a summer series. So, who actually knows?? This early in the game I'm sure anything could change.

I told him I really liked the Rhythmatist and polo chapters and he said those are popular ones and people have suggested more things he needs to write about. Of course, at this advanced age I can't recall what the suggestions were

I enjoyed seeing SandraVKM, Johnny Beane, Ellie and Allan, Pat Bateman and Maggie. May have seen Krokodyle, but I understand he's rather stealth, so I can't be sure. Soooo proud of Ellie to have faced her fear (and escape with nary a bite mark!). Laurie and I were lurking off to the side to grab some photographic evidence. Stewart turned and saw us and said, "You're back!" We explained that we were documenting the moment.

I had a great time in San Francisco. The signing was cherry on top of the sundae. :-D
I have some pics downloaded. Lemme post them.

Amy,
I had such a great time with you, Laurie, the Nutterdom Representatives of the Bay Area (yes, I am sure that the Mysterious Krocodyle was there too...Maybe even in the café...;) and your luv'ly sister. You all were so supportive and helped me ridicule my panic (it was aboot time!).
I saw very clearly that most of the time we take everything Oh So Seriously. Thank you for making me realize it.

I was first in line and ready for a photo but my camera malfunctioned!!! Nonetheless, it was great to meet the man. I actually mentioned that I saw him at the Potomac Polo club in the 80s and he remembered the place. Not me for some reason!
