The stooopid News of the World has taken a very few choice bits of Stewart's book and strung them together out of context to make Stewart look like a maniac on the verge of killing Sting during the reunion tour. The sub-headline (or whatever you call those things) shouts out "How feuding Police stars wrecked band's come-back". If the third most successful tour of all time is a wreck, I'll take a wreck anyday.
This is the type of thing I feared would happen if the advanced drafts had been released to unscrupulous hands. Now that the book is for sale, it's not such a big deal. You can just tell people to read the book and let it speak for itself. A few other news sources have picked up this story, condensing it to make it even more sensationally inaccurate.
Don't open this link if you haven't read the book and don't want to be "spoiled". Don't open this link either unless you want to enjoy a rush of indignant outrage.
