Andy was pretty cool at the signing I went to, he was signing whatever people asked in addition to the book.

I have the full page ad from the NY Times that was run the day of the final MSG show. It's got a perfect spot for him to sign, I am going to try because I would love to have a signed copy framed of it.

I'll report back.

No photos with Stewart but you could take pics. And a friend I met in line snapped one of me getting my books signed, which I'll post when I get it. You could only get two things signed, but aforementioned friend only had one so was happy to take one of my books, so I got both empty and sockii theirs. Ladies, I think you'll be quite happy. Here are my pics:

Didn't really say anything to the man, just wanted to make sure he spelled my name right, then we debated whether or not to have sockii's signed "sockii" or "Nicole", so he just went ahead and did both! Then just a "thanks Stewart" and I was off. I even forgot to mention it's my birthday in a month so could he sign happy birthday. Dunce. (me, not him. )

Met up with Throb, who was actually in line next to the friend I ran into (waves to Cosmo if he's watching ), and also met Laz, who turned up a bit later. Throb got his New York Times ad signed as well as his book, it looks great, I'm sure he'll be here posting his photos and notes too soon enough. (:

Great to meet you Larissa and your friends and fellow PJ fans were really cool. Great to see Laz to.

I have no pictures, I was too much of a nervous wreak to operate a camera or any photo taking device. Stewart signed my book, great idea by Larissa to have him sign the flag page. I pulled out the full page ad from the NY Times that they ran on 08/07/08 that I had saved and he signed with it made out to my name. It looks awesome, I can't wait to have it mounted and framed. I told him thanks and went to shake his hand right when his publicist was giving him hand sanitizer which he rubbed all over his hands. I kept my hand hand out for a shake. After being a fan for thirty years I had to shake his hand, greasy as it was!

I think something happened at the beginning with people taking pictures with him that got one of the people at Amoeba upset and she stopped having people take pictures with him. I think, we were back in line a ways so I am not sure exactly what happened, I heard the Amoeba woman say something like "People aren't listening so no pictures...". But around the record racks you could take as many pictures as you wanted to. Maybe in SF you will be able to take picture with him?

A great night, one I won't forget. And Amoeba is such a cool store. I got there early and did a little shopping while I listened to the audio book on my ipod. By the way, the audio book is awesome.

Thanks EQ! And it was great to meet you too Throb. I actually know Allan (Cosmo) from the Foo Fighters postboard, and apart from being one of the sweetest guys I've ever met on my travels, he knows everyone, fans and musicians, has been to more incredible shows than I've had hot dinners (he saw The *original* Who!), and has my eternal gratitude because he knows Taylor and got me one of his drumsticks at the Chevy Metal show I went to in the Valley last month. Which is where my userpic is from. He's also tempting me with a San Diego PJ ticket for tomorrow night. Evil man.

I was just so glad I could get empty's and sockii's books for them; I am indebted to them both for their generosity during my travels and getting personalised copies only goes a short way to repaying them. <3

I'm planning on going to the SF signing. Gonna shoot to be there at 2, but will probably be later. Trying to decide what other thing I'd like him to sign and what to wear. MSG shirt? Break out the "Hole in My Wallet Tour" shirt?? I will report on Sunday.
