I scored a Rhythmatist LP in the carpool line.

Thought you Nutters would like this story.

About half an hour ago, I'm in the elementary school carpool line drinking my coffee and minding my own business when out of the corner of my eye I see what looks like someone waving a magazine. I turn and look, and my daughter's friend's father is waving a Rhythmatist album. I roll down the window, and he says,

"you got this?"

to which I reply, "uh, a bootleg."

"I was cleaning out my old albums and found this and thought of you. I've only listened to it a couple of times. You want it?"

"YEAH!"

So, ignoring all rules and regulations of elementary school carpool lines, I illegally jump out the car in the line (tisk tisk) and take possession of said item.

"Awesome! Thanks!!!"

Album now residing on a shelf in my music room. Classic vinyl baby! Copyright 1985. I'm a happy girl.

Nice haul, E!

See? It pays to be a proud Nutter!

Did you have SC stickers on your car, or did that person just know you really well?

Well done.

Actually, I don't know this guy extremely well, I'm closer to his wife, but we've discussed music and the tales of my Police tour escapades, apparantly it made an impression. His cool points have definately gone up in my book, seeing that he had a 25 year old Copeland LP and all.
