Hi, everyone (hi, Stewart). Thank you for all the well wishes and love. As I mentioned elsewhere, about a third of my face is asleep, but most of it isn't dead, so it should wake up over time. (Just assume that everything I say for a while is emitted through a gritted jaw à la Eddie Vedder.) My right ear is now purely decorative, but there were no complications, no surprises, my surgeon did an incredible job, and the problem was 11 times less bad than originally feared, so for someone who had a tumor and ear removed (the latter also reattached) just a few days ago, I'm doing pretty well.

Today's challenges: chewing overcooked carrots and overcoming my fear of the shower.
