The Maestro must be kidding...

What a thread! There's so much to comment on -- a previously undisclosed opera commission, an unfounded and likely freshly fabricated rumour of a European Police tour, apostrophes gone wild...Wow!
I agree with sockii about being pleasantly surprised about the British opera thing. I wonder if there'll be any flying Stetsons in this one. As to the Police tour of Europe, I think that bit of news is as accurate as the article's spelling. Perhaps the boys are planning to do one of those bicycle tours through Tuscany's wine region.

And am I the only one who is ticked off that the article about Stewart is accompanied by a big goofy picture of Sting? Even in the article's photo gallery there is only one picture of Stewart among about a dozen shots. Maybe visions should send them a few of her pictures.
In Dallas, the only game that really mattered was in the word gamelan.

Vickie the video doesn't work for me due to U.S. copyright restrictions :(
what was it? maybe I can find it.
Maybe you need to post that picture of Sting again, the one with his hands on his ears..."I can't hear you.."

(I was afraid to click the link for fear it'd be a Rick Roll...;))

Hell, I'll take what I can get outta Stewart. I'd go nuts for another Oysterhead tour, but frankly last week I already got what I wanted most of all this year - just so happy the book kicks so much entire ass. Just sayin'.

Sorry--Jose and others who are hoping--to be the cynic, but this "concert" isn't happening. We know that SC is going to be tied up with his book, Ben Hur and the Dallas Symphony piece well into next year. Sting will be promoting his snoozer winter album for the next few eons and...I'm not sure what Andy's doing.

Journalists and editors are putting that in as "fluff" to get people to read their articles, papers, blogs, etc.

I don't believe it for a second...not even that long.

Don't forget the new opera piece that Stewart is composing to premiere in London next year that was revealed in one of the articles last week promoting Strange Things Happen.

I've totally had it with journalists who really have NO CLUE what the heck they are talking about. They think they know what the story is before they even do the interview and then twist the real deal into what they think it should be. Geeze. I really thought the tour would end the ceaseless speculation. Just goes to show you the media just has nothing better to do than take rampant speculation and run with it.

LOVE for there to be an Oysterhead reunion!! I'd be dancing right along w/ all those PhisHippies......just keep ANY smoke away    !!
And I'd also LOVE for there to be another Police Tour, with or without new material. But I never thought i'd get to see them live at all before, so its ok if no more. Besides, I just don't need anymore T-shirts at the moment, heeheehee.....
