Stewart,
Just finished the audio book and man let me tell you it was an incredible listen. But now I have questions, who the hell does Sting think he is? I mean he crossed the sacred line telling you of all people how to play drums...are you not the originator of the rhythms and he has the audacity to tell you what to play? You have every right to hold your ground and to get pissed about it, and if I were in your shoes I too would do the exact same thing! I always knew Sting was controlling but dam that is unbelievable.
And everything thing Sting touches is not gold give me a break...Sacred Love sucked ass..a drum machine what the hell, through most of the cd? And boy that lute album was so exciting yeah right don't think so, can you say "YAWNSVILLE".
Don't know if Sting realizes this but he needs The Police. Two of his solo records worth a dam Soul Cages/Ten Sommoner's Tales.... everything else impales in comparison.
What I dig about you...Stewart you could care a less about sales you make art pure and simple and bless bless you for it.
I am writing a tribute song for you right now in my studio...where yours truly sings/drums/plays guitar and bass/and does keyboards. And I blame you and thank you for the inspiration. Should be done before Christmas
called "Mr Klark Kent Would You Please Come Home". I shall post it here as soon as it is finished.
I will continue to support your endeavors for the years to come cause I believe in what you do.
