I still think that "thought" in the second line is actually "caught" otherwise why would he be "covered in embarrassment?"

Had a nice email discussion with Dietmar about this song/lyrics. Problem is, no high quality copies seem to exist of these demos. And, Gordo isn't big about putting out unreleased Police material, including demos. I think Police demos would be a great addition to a new version of MIAB.
