Now we need to figure out a name. My wife for some reason has already vetoed my suggestion of "Stewart Gordon Andrew Perry." Leaning toward Samuel at the moment.

Hey, what's wrong w/ this? Ok, no Gordon then

God bless you both for adopting. The 2 boys I've helpped raise, and sare still involved w/ are my ex boyfriend's grandsons (ma & pa split up and then split out! :x ). If the ex hadn't stepped up to the plate, a 3 yr old and an 18 mo. old would have gone into the system. And here in Ohio, little likelihood of ever being adopted. The foster system here has also had its share of abusers AND murderers (no kidding). So, really, congradulations, blessings, and I will be keeping all y'all in my prayers as y'all begin to become a Family!

Congratulations to you and your wife, Nick. I wish you and your son much happiness.

And congrats. in advance to you, Tamadude and Mrs. TD. The new arrival will be number three for you, n'est-ce pas? Be forwarned; once the adults are outnumbered, there's no use even pretending to be the ones in control.

Thanks to everyone for your good wishes.

A quick update from Houston. We were NOT able to get the baby last night due to some confusion between the hospital and the state of Texas. Hope to get baby this moring (and don't expect that posting here will be my next act)

On the name it will be Samuel. Probably Samuel John Perry, but still debating the middle name. I looked through the index of book I was reading on the plane for name inspiration but the Game Player by Miles Copeland (Stewart's dad) isn't the best source for American names of this century. Kermit, Archibald, plus a bunch of perfectly fine Arab names if you are naming an Arab child.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music
